9.3.1 Steering caster replacement

Proceed as follows:
1. Turn off the control unit.
2. Raise the power wheelchair, e.g. using a jack, so that
the wheel being replaced can turn freely.
3. Remove the cover cap with a flathead screwdriver.
4. Loosen the hexagon head screw with a socket wrench
size 17.
5. Pull the steering caster forward off the wheel hub.
6. Push the new steering caster onto the wheel hub.
7. Retighten the hexagon head screw.
8. Check proper tightness with a torque wrench.
9. Reapply the cover cap.
INFORMATION
When reassembling the wheel, tighten the screw to a
torque of 25 Nm.
