Applying the lap belt
1. Push the two halves of the buckle together so they en-
gage. The belt buckle must snap in place audibly.
2. Verify that the belt has locked by trying to pulling it
apart.
Opening the lap belt
1. Press the red release button. The belt opens.
Changing the belt length
The belt length can be adjusted on both sides.
1. Position both buckle halves in the middle of the body.
2. After positioning the buckle halves at a right angle in
relation to the belt, their position can be varied. Any
excessive belt length will be held in place by the plastic
slides.

7.4.4 Four-way chest strap/chest belt (for Recaro®
seats only)
WARNING
Risk of injury due to improper use of the four-way chest
strap. The four-way chest strap / chest belt helps to addi-
tionally stabilise the person sitting in the power wheelchair.
The four-way chest strap / chest belt must never be used
as part of a restraint system for transportation of the per-
son in a motor vehicle for the disabled.
