Safety functions

INFORMATION
In dangerous situations, the power wheelchair can be
turned off at any time using the on/off button. When the
button is pressed, the power wheelchair brakes immedi-
ately and the electric functions will be stopped.
Malfunctions such as an insufficient supply of power to
the brake are recognised by the software, triggering the
emergency stop brake or reducing the speed of the pow-
er wheelchair. At the same time, a warning signal will be
emitted.
INFORMATION
The control unit of the power wheelchair must be reacti-
vated after an emergency stop. In the event of communica-
tion problems in the bus system of the control unit, the
system triggers an emergency stop and thus prevents any
uncontrolled functions. If the driving function is still not
available after reactivating the controls, the brake must be
released to switch over to pushing mode. In this case, con-
tact a specialist dealer as soon as possible.

INFORMATION
The control unit of the power wheelchair switches to a safe
mode at elevated temperatures and after driving uphill for
extended periods of time, limiting the performance of the
power wheelchair. However, the user is able to drive the
power wheelchair out of a hazardous situation at any time.
Once the excessive temperature has been alleviated (this
may take several minutes depending on the ambient tem-
perature), the power wheelchair is once again fully func-
tional.
