Have the user get into the product and perform a trial seat fitting. Pay special attention to proper positioning
according to medical considerations.
The user and any attendants must be instructed in the safe use of the product. The instructions for use in par­
ticular have to be used.
The instructions for use must be given to the user or an attendant upon delivery of the wheelchair.
The user or attendant should acknowledge that they have been instructed in how to use the product and were
informed of the residual risks.
Depending on equipment: The supplied instructions for use for accessories have to be handed over in addi­
tion.

8 Use

8.1 Circuit breaker

INFORMATION
► Should the automatic circuit breaker deactivate repeatedly after activation for no discernible reason, contact
the qualified personnel.
► For shipping or when the power wheelchair is not being used for an extended period of time, the automatic
circuit breaker should be deactivated.
The automatic circuit breaker has to be activated before the power wheelchair can be switched on.
It is located laterally on the drive unit sustainer, next to the charging receptacle (see fig. 5, item 1).

8.2 Side panels

INFORMATION

The side panels protect the user and his/her clothing from getting dirty.
The installed armrests offer the user additional support for the forearms.

8.2.1 Removing/installing the side panels

INFORMATION
To remove the side panels with lighting: see Page 47.
To make getting in from the side easier or for transportation, the side panels can be removed if needed.
C2000
Activating the circuit breaker
1) Push up on the reset lever, which is at an angle,
until it engages (see fig. 5, item 2).
2) The circuit breaker is activated.
Deactivating the circuit breaker
1) Press the pushbutton (see fig. 5, item 3). The reset
lever folds up again diagonally (see fig. 5, item 2).
2) The circuit breaker is deactivated.
