Control unit
NOTICE
Possible impairment of the power wheelchair driving
characteristics. The driving characteristics of the power
wheelchair can be affected by electromagnetic fields (mo-
bile phones or other radiating devices). For this reason,
please switch off all mobile devices when driving.
NOTICE
Risk of damage to other devices. The power wheelchair
can generate electromagnetic fields that can cause inter-
ference with other devices. Turn off the control unit when-
ever you do not need it.
6.3.1 Control panel
The power wheelchair is operated using the control panel.
The control panel consists of a keypad, LCD monitor and
joystick. The programming receptacle and two inputs for
external push-buttons are located on the underside. The
power wheelchair is turned on and off using the keypad;
driving commands can be entered and the status of certain
functions and components can be displayed.
