7.2.2.1.2 Two-point lap belt with plastic buckle

Adjusting the belt
1) Adjust the belt ends at the belt closure. Do so by loosening the belt ends in the buckle, adjusting the length
and pulling them tight (see fig. 33, item 1).
2) The length can also be adjusted in the 3-slot mounting brackets. Do this by loosening the belt ends in the 3-slot
mounting brackets, adjusting the length and pulling them tight. For belt placement: see fig. 34.
Using the belt
1) To open the belt buckle, press the metal snap from above and below (see fig. 33, item 2). Pull the metal snap
out of the closure.
2) Seat the user in the seat.
3) Fasten the belt by means of the metal snap until the closure audibly engages.
→ The main strap (with padding) should be at an angle of about 60° to the seat surface. The support straps
should run across the thighs in front of the pelvic bones (see fig. 30).
