Symptom
The media jammed.
The media cannot be
taken up.
The waste ink tanks are
full.
SignJet JS310 Series Set Up Guide
Cause
The edges of the media
curled
up,
and
became
jammed.
The
media
shifted
touched the printheads.
The gap between the media
and the printheads was
insufficient,
causing
media
to
touch
printheads.
The
switch
setting
incorrect.
The
take-up
sensor
adjustment is incorrect.
Corrective measure
The edges of the media may curl up if the media
edge guards are not used. Be sure to use the
media edge guards.
If the media touched the printheads, perform a
printhead cleaning operation (See section VII.6
Printing the Nozzle Check Pattern).

If the heater temperature is too high, reduce it.
Check whether the media has been loaded at an
angle. Make sure that the media is loaded so that
it is straight.
