CHAPTER 6 TROUBLESHOOTING
7) Connect the probe of the laser power checker to the digital multimeter.
8) Connect the power plug to the power outlet, and turn on the main power switch.
9) Make the following selections in service mode: COPIER>FUNCTION>LASER.
10) Select 'POWER-A', and press the OK key.
11) See that the reading of the digital multimeter is 9 to 11 mV, indicating the power of laser
A is correct.
12) Select 'POWER-B', and press the OK key.
13) See the the reading of the digital multimeter is 9 to 11 mV, indicating that the power of
laser B is correct.
