2 Outline of the Manual
This Service Manual provides basic facts and figures about the iR8500 series and the side
paper deck designed as an option to the copier; use the information for servicing the ma-
chine in the field, thus ensuring the initial product quality.
For the DADF and other options, separate service manuals are made available for infor-
mation, refer to their respective manuals.
