Replacing a Disk Drive in the Two-Position Disk Drive Bay
The section helps you install non hot-plug drives in the two-position SCSI disk drive
bay.
1. If you have not already done so, shut down the system as described in "Stopping
the System Unit" on page 316.
2. If you have not already done so, unplug the system unit power cable from the
electrical outlet.
3. If you have not already done so, remove the front and right covers as described in
"Removing the Covers" on page 311.
4. Remove the screws that hold the cover onto the two-position SCSI drive bay and
remove the cover.
5. Remove the disk drive from its protective packaging and open the drive latch
handle.
