Remote Keypads and TS700.LECs

Up to 5 remote keypads or TS700.LECs can be
connected on any one network. The devices may be
wired in a "daisy-chain" or "star" configuration. When
using remote keypads the network must be wired in
6-core cable. If all devices on the network are
TS700.LECs the network can be wired in 4-core as the
+
"D" connection is not required.
No two devices should have the same address
+
(I/D).
This method of connection is designed for
networks 1 and 2. Although it can be used on
other networks, the "D" connection for the
remote keypads will have to be taken from
+
networks 1 or 2.
The sounder on the remote keypads will follow
+
the control panel sounder.
Remote keypads cannot be multi-tasked
between each other on the same network when
using this method of connection.
