Identifying a disk connected through a Fibre card
The following example describes how to identify an ETERNUS disk connected through a Fibre card inserted in
PCIe Slot#0 of IOB#0.
FIGURE 5.110 Identifying a disk connected through a Fibre card
The device path of this Fibre card is as follows:
Acpi(PNP0A08,0x0)/Pci(0x3,0x0)/Pci(0x0,0x0)/Pci(0x2,0x0)/Pci(0x0,0x0)/Pci(0x0,0x0)/Pci(0x0,0x0)/

FIGURE 5.111 Relationship of connections between an IOH and Fibre card
shows the detailed relationship of
connections between an IOH and disk connected through a Fibre card.
FIGURE 5.111 Relationship of connections between an IOH and Fibre card
The device path from the IOH to Fibre card is conceptually the same as the device path to a SAS device. You can
see the disk information in
FIGURE 5.112 Relationship between a device path and connections (Fibre
card).
