Vendor ID (hex) Displays the vendor ID (in hexadecimal).
Device ID (hex) Displays the device ID (in hexadecimal).
PCI Device Version Displays the PCI device version (in hexadecimal).

Unit Displays the identifier of the connected extension file unit controller.
Information about devices connected to controller
In the case of VMware or if no device is connected, this area displays only the display item titles together with a
message stating that no device is connected.
Unit Displays the identifiers of the devices connected to the storage controller.
Status Displays the overall status that is determined based on the hardware status of each device
connected to the storage controller as well as on symptoms of latent conditions.
The displayed status is as follows:
Check the check box to clear the status.
After checking the check box, click the [Status Clear] button to clear the status.
Device Type Displays the device type.
In Linux: This field displays "n.a." for any device not listed above.
In Windows: This field displays "Unknown" for any device not listed above (e.g., RBC,
CardReader, Bridge, Other).
Disk Name Displays the disk device name.
This field displays a hyphen (-) for a non-disk device such as a GDS.
Device Vendor ATA is displayed for SATA.
The vendor name is displayed for SAS.
Revision Displays the version of the device.
Device Name Displays the model name of the device.
- OK: Operating normally
- Error: Serious problem such as a hardware failure
- Warning: Warning status (potential problem in the future; S.M.A.R.T. included)
