CHAPTER 5 UEFI Menu Operations
- The HDD is empty during boot with [Legacy Boot] from the HDD.
- The DVD/CD device cannot be recognized during boot with [Legacy Boot] from a DVD/CD.
- The DVD/CD device has no inserted media during boot with [Legacy Boot] from a DVD/CD.
- The DVD/CD device has no bootable media inserted during boot with [Legacy Boot] from a DVD/CD.
- The LAN cable is disconnected during boot with [Legacy Boot] with PXE.
- The PXE server is set during boot with [Legacy Boot] with PXE.
- The LAN cable is disconnected during boot with [UEFI: PXE Boot MAC ( MAC addr )].
- The PXE server is not set during boot with [UEFI: PXE Boot MAC ( MAC addr )].
Failure that does not allow processing to go to the next boot option
If the boot process fails after control is passed to the operating system, the failure does not allow processing to go
to the next boot option. For example, if the operating system program stored on the boot target device is corrupted,
this failure occurs.

(1) Page information display area
This area displays [Boot Manager].
(2) Menu selection area
This area displays a list of boot devices in the priority order for startup. Move the cursor with the up arrow key or
down arrow key to select the OS to boot or [UEFI Shell]. Press the [Enter] key to start the UEFI-aware OS, legacy
OS, or UEFI Shell, whichever is selected.
If boot fails, the display returns to the Boot Manager front page.
