Select a severity level by checking the corresponding check box.
- Error: Serious problem such as a hardware failure
- Warning: Event that is not necessarily serious but is a potential problem in the
future
- Information: Normal event such as partition power-on
Everything is selected by default.
Specify a faulty unit by selecting it from a pull-down list, entering the unit name
directly, or clicking the appropriate radio button.
- Select Unit: Select a unit type from the pull-down list.
Select this radio button to select the faulty unit from the pull-down list. (You
can select only one unit type.)

- Disk
- Software
- Input Unit: Enter the unit name directly.
Select this radio button to enter the name of the faulty unit directly.
The unit name can consist of up to 64 single-byte alphanumeric characters,
spaces, and symbols. Note that you cannot use the following symbols:
< > % & " , \
If you enter nothing or one or more single-byte spaces only, the entry is invalid.
Use a prefix search for string matching.
