In the basic options press the [Special Original] key.

Press the [Tab paper] key if you wish to copy originals with tabs.
A selection window appears.

Select the size that corresponds to the originals that have been
placed.

What does "full-image area" mean?
When you press [Full Area] the entire area of the original glass will
be scanned.
