Your System Is Not Working Correctly

Symptom
Nothing is shown in the
display.
A cycle does not start when
the [Start] key on the control
panel is pressed.
The system will not switch
on.
Copying cannot be
continued after a paper jam.
The basics menu display is
different from that shown in
the manual.
The system regularly reports
a paper jam.
Di5510/Di7210
Possible Cause
The energy saving function
is enabled.
The system is switched off.
The main switch is at
position 0 (OFF).
The power plug is not in the
outlet.
Not all doors are closed on
the system or finisher.
No matching paper size is
loaded.
The copy counter is at "0".
The E.K.C. password was
not input.
The copy limit has been
exceeded.
The basic options are not
displayed.
The energy saving key is
pressed.
A malfunction has occurred
in the system.
The power plug is not in the
outlet.
The main switch is at
position 0 (OFF).
The building circuit breaker
is activated.
There is another paper jam.
The system administrator
has changed settings.
Labels or OHP
transparencies were printed
previously.
The paper has not been
loaded correctly.
Action
Press any key to close the
energy saving function.
Switch the system on.
Ensure that the main switch
is set to position I (ON).
Plug the power plug into the
outlet.
Close all doors on the
system or finisher.
Load a matching paper size.
Set the number of copies.
Input your E.K.C. password.
Talk to the system
administrator.
Call up the basic options.
Exit energy saving mode.
Note any message shown on
the display.
Plug the power plug into the
outlet.
Ensure that the main switch
is set to position I (ON).
Switch on the circuit breaker.
Clear all paper jams that you
can find.
Talk to the system
administrator.
Check whether there are
labels stuck to the reported
paper jam position. Use the
bypass tray only to process
special paper.
Load the paper correctly.
