Setting the E.K.C. function (Environment Setup)

Make the following user's choice settings for the E.K.C. function. Use the
web browser on a PC for this.
G E.K.C. Data Add
Add new E.K.C. data to the E.K.C list (password, name and copy limit).

E.K.C. Data List
Change or delete the E.K.C. data (password, name or copy limit) in the
list, or reset the counter.

E.K.C. Function Setting
Show the following E.K.C. function settings.
H Enabling and disabling the E.K.C. function
(EKC ON/OFF)
H Selecting the response when the copy limit has been reached:
Warning
Immediately / After job / Warning

E.K.C. password acceptance: 8 characters / fewer than 8 characters
H
E.K.C. password input timing:
Auto reset timer/ Complete job
H
Wrong E.K.C. password (from printer):
Accept / Reject
Tip
The above settings can also be made directly at the device, except for
the setting for Wrong E.K.C. password (from printer).
