Enabling Auto Paper Select Mode (APS)

Automatically copy a variety of original sizes onto a suitable paper size.
You select the zoom ratio and the system detects the size of the original
and determines the correct paper size automatically. If a matching paper
size is not available, a message will be shown prompting the user to insert
a suitable paper size.

Load the originals

on the original glass.

Press the [APS] key.
The background of the key becomes dark. "Auto Paper Mode" is now
enabled.

Set a zoom ratio if required.
The paper size is selected depending on the original size and the
selected zoom ratio.

Configure the system settings for your job.

Press the [Start] key on the control panel to start the copy job.
Copy result not as desired?
If necessary, disable the "Rotation Mode" feature to achieve the
desired copy result.
