IFP Show Commands

This section describes the IFP show commands and the command options you can
enter. It also describes the information in the tables the router displays.

show ifp buffers

The
Forwarding Processor (IFP) buffers. This command allows for the following
option:
-slot <slot>
The output includes the following information:
IFP Slot
2k Buffers Free/Total
8k Buffers Free/Total
2k Buffers Depletions
8k Buffers Depletions

show ifp errors

The
IFP. This command allows for the following option:
-slot <slot>
The output includes the following information:
IFP Slot
SSP Low Pri Drops

command displays information about available Internet
show ifp buffers
command displays packet and system errors for a specific
show ifp errors
Displays information about the specified slot.
Slot number of the IFP.
Number of 2k buffers presently available and the
maximum number of buffers available in the 2k buffer
pool.
Number of 8k buffers presently available and the
maximum number of buffers available in the 8k buffer
pool.
Number of times the 2k buffer pool has been depleted.
Number of times the 8k buffer pool has been depleted.
Displays information about the specified slot.
Slot number of the IFP.
Number of descriptors dropped because the clip
threshold was exceeded for the SSP port one low priority
queue.
