11. Remove the retainer and fan (Fig. 621).
12. Loosen the bottom bolt and remove the upper bolt
securing the alternator and belt cover (Fig. 622).

13. Rotate the belt cover to the side and remove the belt
from the pulleys and alternator (Fig. 623).

1. Route the alternator belt around the pulley and the
alternator (Fig. 624).
