*3* ADJUST 04 Image registration adjustments

Item Description
H-ADJ To fine adjust the CCD reading start position (main scan-
ning direction; book mode)
An increment shifts the read start position to the right.
V-ADJ To adjust the image reading start position (sub scanning
direction)
A higher setting delays the registration ON timing.
RESIST Use it to adjust the registration clutch ON timing (leading
edge margin).
RSIDE- Use it to make adjustments if images on paper picked up
SEN- from the lower feeding assembly (2nd side of over-
SHP lay/two-sided copies) are often displaced to the rear or
front.
If the displacement is to the rear, decrease the value (in
I
units of 23, a single unit being equivalent to 1 mm.)
If the displacement is to the front, increase the value (in
I
units of 23, a single unit being equivalent to 1 mm.)
PVE-OF Use it to correct offset from the laser centre.
ST If you have initialized the RAM or replaced the image
I
processor PBA, enter the value recorded on the service
label.
