Functional description

1 Main motor control PBA

Outline
The main motor (M1) is controlled by the drive signal (MMD) generated by
the DC control PBA. The motor drives:
OPC

Developing unit
I
Feeding unit
I
Fusing unit
I
Specialities: pick-up roller
I
Registration roller
I
Vertical transport: roller 1/2
I
Delivery roller 1
I
Refeed unit: exit roller
I
The speed of the motor is controlled by the main motor control PBA.

2 Rotation

The main motor is driven by DC + 24 Vu supplied by the composite power sup-
ply PCB. When the drive signal (MMD) generated by the DC controller PCB
goes '1', the control circuit on the main motor control PCB turns ON to drive
the drive circuit.
The drive circuit supplies drive current to the main motor. Simultaneously, the
output of the hall IC is returned to the drive circuit. The motor continues rotat-
ing.
