F or a g ood and e fficient engine operation, it is essential that all assem blies are w ithin the tolerances p rescribed. In fact, a close
assem bly causes seizures as soon as the m oving m em bers heat u p; w hile a w ide assem bly causes vibrations w hich in addition
to being nois y ac celerate the w ea r of the m oving com ponents.
