P osition the slider (7) to its end of stroke against the stanchion tube (5-6).
P our 2/3 of th e indicated oil quantity into the stanch ion. F ill also the inner duct of
the dam per rod. C lose the rod w ith a finger and pu m p the rod in o rd er to
perform som e strokes, so that the inner dam pe r gets com pletely full w ith oil. F it
the inner push-ro d (31) a nd fill the stanchion w ith oil up to dim ension "A " from
the slider top (7). A llow som e m in utes and then ch eck the air volum e once
again.
IM P O R T A N T : either a lo w e r or higher air volum e or an oil type different from the
indicated one can affect the fork behavior in an y p hase.

F it the follow ing parts into the leg according to the given order: p re-load sleeve
(25), spring (21) and retaining cup (20).

S crew the plug (48) on the dam p er rod b y ha nd.
C om press the sp ring so that the c heck nut (23) ca n be reached.
K eep firm ly the p lug (48) on the d am per rod w ith the w renches p re viously used
for disassem bling the fork.
T ighten the chec k nut (23) o n the plug (48).

Lubricate the O R (18) on the plug (48).
Lift the slider (7) and insert it into the plug (48 ). D o not dam age th e O R (18).
T ighten the plug (48) on the slider (7).

T o change the oil seals, the fork legs m ust be disassem bled.

scale or gauge.
T ightening torq u e for dam pe r ro d: 10 N m .
T ightening torq u e for plug check nut: 30 N m .
T ightening torq u e for slider plug: 25 N m .
