W ith the ignition definitely fu nctional, w hilst the ba ttery is charged (12.5V -13V ),
start the engine: if the battery tension does not incre ase (14.5V ) after about four
m inutes, substitute the regulato r. T o access the re gulator, rem ove the seat and
side panel (page s E .14, E .21).
