T he engine lub rication is of the forced type, w ith d u al lobe pum p
located inside the R .H . crankcase cover. T he inner delivery pum p
delivers oil suitable filtered to the roller cage of the connecting rod
little end, to the starting free w heel, to the inner side of the piston
and to the cam sh aft. A fter these item s have been lubricated, the oil
com ing from piston and from the cage of the conn ecting rod little
end falls in the linkage cham ber. T he oil com ing from the free
w h eel and fro m the cam shaft falls in the crankcase cham ber, igni-
tion side, w hen it passes through the double screen filter and re-
turns to the delivery p um p. A vent fitting on the c ylinder head deliv-
ers oil vapors in the fram e up per b eam , w here take place the
separation of the oil from the vapo rs conve yed resp ectively:
A . In the engine block through a fitting connected to the fram e
B . In the air filter box th rough a pipe.
A lam ination valve located behind the distribution chain optim izes
the operation of the s ystem according to the m ove m ent of the
piston.
