P roceed as follow s:
- F ully stretch the chain w ith the a djusting screw s.
- M ark 20 chain links.
- m easure th e distance A betw e en 1st pin center and 21 st pin cen ter.
C heck the pinion dam ages or w ea r and re place it should the w ea r d egree be as
the one sho w n in figure.
M isalignm ent of the w heel w ill result in abnorm al w ear and m a y result in
an unsafe riding condition.
In m udd y and w e t conditions, m ud sticks to the chain and sprockets
resulting in an over-tight chain. T h e pinion, the chain, and the rear s procket
w h eel w ear incre ases w hen running on m udd y gro und.
