A regular check of brake disc condition is m ost im portant; th e disc should be
absolutely clean w ithout an y trace s of rust, oil, grea se or dirt and sh ould not be
excessively scored.
F ront b rake disc diam eter: 10.24 in. (T E ); 12.6 in. (S M )
F ront b rake disc thickness (w hen ne w ): 0.1 18 in. (T E ); 0.19 7 in. (S M )
B rake disc thickness at w ea r lim it: 0.098 in. (T E ); 0 .177 in. (S M )
R ear b rake disc diam eter: 8.66 in .
R ear b rake disc thickness (w hen ne w ): 0.1 57 in.
B rake disc thickness at w ea r lim it: 0.138 in.
T he disc distortion m ust not excee d 0.15 m m /0.00 6 in. (this m easure is to be
taken w ith a com parator and w ith the disc m ounted on the rim ).
Loosen the fou r fixing screw s to rem ove the disk from the rim . W he n
reassem bling, accurately clean th e supporting surfaces and tighten the
screw s to the torque required.
