Install the rear pinion (1) w ith a ne w retaining ring.
P a y a tte n tio n to rear p in io n (1) reassem b lin g se n se: th e cro w n in g
sid e h a s to b e tu rn ed to w ard th e in sid e .
Install the neutral sensor (2) w ith its fastening screw s (6 N m -0 ,6 K g m -4.3 ft/
lb).
Install the gear shift pedal (3) w ith its fastening screw (9 N m -0,9 K g m -6.5 ft/
lb) in accordance w ith th e m ark previously done.
A fter the engine assem bly, check the valve play a n d install the spark plug.
A fter the engine assem bly check the valve clearance and install the spark
plug.
R eassem ble the engine on the fra m e, connecting the cooling and lubrication
circuits, the electric system and th e parts previously rem oved.
