A fter having com pleted the check, insert again the piston, the disk, the
spring and the ring w ith slots. R em ove the cone h olding shaft from the plug,
screw th e ring an d insert it in the slot applying a light pressure. Lock the
assem bly w ith th e plug at a torq u e of 30 N m (3 kg m ; 29.2 ft/lbs).

th e ex p lo sio n o f th e s h o ck ab s o rb er d u rin g u se.
R eservo ir re p la cem en t
In case of reserv oir replacem ent, it is necessary to heat w ith w a rm a ir near
the scre w ed side and unscre w it w ith a suitable to ol.
R eplace the O -R ing of the reservo ir. G re ase the O R surface, but se e that the
base thread g ets not sm eared w ith grease.
T ighten the reservoir using Loctite, and see that th e O -R ing is undam aged. U se
a 40 N m (4 kgm ; 39.2 ft/lb) torque. N O T E : W h en ca rrying out these operations
see that the place of w ork and all the elem ents are w ell cleaned.
