T his operation allow s you to set th e param ete rs of the instrum ent for use on
m otorc ycles w ith different characteristics (S M -T E ). T o begin the e diting proc-
ess proceed as follow s:
1 - W ith ignition off press and hold the M O D E button
2 - W ith the M O D E button still pressed, turn the ig nition on. A fter around 7
seconds W S w ill appear in the lo w er right corn er of the display. R ele ase the
M O D E button no w to skip to step 8 or keep it press ed to continue to step 3

3 - K eeping the M O D E button pressed, press the passing light sw itch 5 tim es
4 - R elease the M O D E button an d the "000 1" (fo r S M m odel) code w ill appear,

5 - P ress and release the M O D E button and th e "0 002" (fo r the T E
m odel) code and subsequently th e w riting "cu" sho w n in fig. 4;
6 - A fter selecting code (0001 for S M and 0002 fo r T E ), press and h old the
M O D E button un til W S re-appears. R elease the M O D E button.
7 - P ress and release the M O D E button no w to displa y the first of five non-
editable screens as follow s:
"Ln" = developm ent w heel (fig 5 )
"di" = diam eter rotates (fig 6)
"S P E E D " = n° im pulseturn w heel (fig 7)
"rpm " = n ° im pulse/turn engine (fig 8)
"m ax" = out lim it turns (fig 9)

8 - P ress and release the M O D E button to sho w th e K m /h - M ph screen
(fig. 10). P ress and hold M O D E b utton up to th e a ppearance of the horizontal
bars (not sho w n) then release. A unit of m easure w ill be flashing w hich is the
active units. P ress and release the M O D E button to change from K m h to M ph
& vise-versa. P ress and hold the M O D E button un til W S re-appears to accept
your selection

9 - P ress and release the M O D E button until you s ee the oil change sym bol
(fig. 11). P ress and hold M O D E b utton until the ho rizontal bars app ear (not
show n ), then rele ase. Y ou a re p re sented w ith N O , clear? . P ress a nd release
the M O D E butto n to see Y E S , clear . P ress and h old the M O D E bu tton until
the screen blanks. R elease the m ode button to se e "0000" or the v alue previ-
ously inserte d w ith the first num be r flashing. (initial setting is 13h for the first
oil change) S hortly p ressing M O D E the num ber ad vances one, allow ing it to
flash for 2 seconds the second left num ber w ill beg in to flash. S et to the de-
sired interval. (S ee the M aintena nce section for re com m ended inte rvals)

10 - P ress and re lease the M O D E button until you s ee the m aintena nce sym -
bol (fig. 12) P re ss and hold M O D E button until th e horizontal bars appear
(not sho w n ), the n release. P ress and release the M O D E button to select dis-
tance or hou rs a s the interval. (fig. 13 distance w ill be K m /h or m p h) P ress
and hold the m o de button until W S briefly flash es in the low e r right corner o f
the display then release. F ollow th e sam e procedure as outlined in step 9. to
set the interval.
T o exit setup c yc le through the sc reens until E N D appears. P ress and hold
the M ode butto n until the horizontal bars are displayed. T he instrum ent w ill
reboot into stand ard m ode. Y o u m a y also turn off th e ignition to exit setup.
