C lean the gasket surfaces on both the c ylinder hea d and the c ylinde r head cover w ith
solvent.
A pply liquid gasket (LO C T IT E 510 or sim ilar) to on e surface and m ount the cover (1 ).
T orque all screw s (2) criss-cross and in steps (9 N m -0,9 K gm -6.5 ft/lb).
Install the oil connecting hose (3) (19,6 N m -2 K gm -14.5 ft/lb) and th e carbureto r. If th e
intake m anifold (A ) of the c ylinder head has been dism antled, apply R H O D O R S E A L
seal and tighten the tw o scre w s (4 ) to 12 N m - 1,23 K gm - 8.9 ft/lb.
