SIGNIFICATION
Activated by one of the
following actions: Select MOB
entry in Ship Info menu, push
MOB button in Toolbar or push
MOB button from keyboard
Timeout, stop track control,
in case of missing status from
Autopilot
Timeout, lost HDG
NO position available
AIS information is not longer
available, all AIS symbols in
chart will be displayed as lost
Timeout, lost SOG data
Depth was detect which is
less than the user defined alarm
depth
Timeout, lost LOG data
Timeout, lost STW

PROBABLE CAUSE
A MOB symbol appears in
the chart, Autopilot will be dis-
abled and a log entry will be
done. The Alarm can be can-
celed via Ship menu entry
"Overboard All−clear".
Used Autopilot:
Check Status from Autopilot; if
too much time has passed since
last status message from the Au-
topilot then the ECDIS stops
track control.
Used Autopilot Autopilot: Check
Status from Autopilot; if too much
time has passed since last status
message from the Autopilot then
the ECDIS stop track control.
Check Autopilot connection be-
tween Autopilot and ECDIS.
Too much time has passed
since last HDG telegram from
GRYO.
Check GYRO and or HDG tele-
gram
Check Nav interface,
position input
Check AIS device, check com-
munication cable ECDIS−AIS de-
vice
Check NMEA telegram
VBW in Interface Monitor. Check
Sensor and communication
cable to ECDIS
Alarm depth is calculated
from the transducer head, not
from the keel or the surface.
Value can be changed in menu
"Echosounder"
Too much time has passed since
last last VBW (containing Longi-
tudinal ground speed LOG).
Check VBW telegram
Too much time has passed
since last good STW telegram.
Check telegram and communica-
tion cable
