25) Apply Super Lube (FY9-6005-000) about half the size of a rice grain (approx. 20 mg) to at least the half of
the circumference of a new ITB Drive Roller [1] at the two places [A] that are fitted in the bearings.
26) Install the parts removed in step 24 to the new Steering Roller in reverse order.
27) Install the removed parts in reverse order.
CAUTION:
Be sure to tighten the screw [3] last when installing the ITB Drive Motor Unit after installing the Drive Roller [1]
to the frame [2] of the Intermediate Transfer Belt Unit.
Make sure to avoid the edge of the ITB displacement sensor lever from overlapping with the ITB
CAUTION:
at installation.
28) ITB position shall be adjusted with a service mode whenever ITB pressure is released.
(ITB positioning adjustment : COPIER > FUNCTION > INSTALL > INIT-ITB)
