<Work procedure 2-1>
NOTE:
If the rollers of the ITB Unit (see the figure below) are soiled, follow the cleaning procedure shown below to
clean the whole circumferences of the rollers.
[The rollers to be cleaned with dry lint-free paper]
- 1 Secondary Transfer Inner Roller [1]
- 1 ITB Drive Roller [2]
[The rollers to be cleaned with a vacuum cleaner and lint-free paper moistened with alcohol]
- 1 Steering Roller [3]
- 4 ITB Slave Rollers [4]
CAUTION:
Rotate the rollers in the direction of the arrow shown in the figure below, and clean them in the vertical
direction.
MEMO :
When the ITB is removed, if the back side of ITB is dirty, make sure to clean it in the following procedure.
1) Place the removed ITB on the paper.
2) Clean the back side of ITB by evenly wiping all circumference in vertical direction with the lint-free paper
moistened with alcohol.
19) After cleaning, remove the paper you placed, and discard the toner according to the specified method.
