<Work procedure 2-3>
NOTE:
If the rollers of the ITB Unit (see the figure below) are soiled, follow the cleaning procedure shown below to
clean the whole circumferences of the rollers.
[The roller to be cleaned with a vacuum cleaner and dry lint-free paper]
- 1 Primary Transfer Roller [1]
[The roller to be cleaned with dry lint-free paper]
- 1 ITB Drive Roller [2]
[The rollers to be cleaned with a vacuum cleaner and lint-free paper moistened with alcohol]
- 1 Steering Roller [3]
- 4 ITB Slave Rollers [4]
CAUTION:
- Rotate the rollers in the direction of the arrow shown in the figure below, and clean them in the vertical
direction.
- When the Primary Transfer Roller is removed, make sure to remove the ITB static eliminator from the edge
of primary transfer roller unit.
