<Work procedure 2-2>
[B-3] Replacing the Feed Roller in the Pickup Unit
NOTE:
This unit contains 1 Feed Roller [1] to be replaced. The location is shown in the figure below.
The following procedure shows how to remove this unit. If necessary, remove this unit and check the Feed
Roller for any abnormality.
1) Open the Front Left Cover and the Front Right Cover.
2) Pull out the Waste Toner Case Unit.
3) Pull out the Paper Deck.
4) Remove the 2 screws and the deck cover (upper).
5) Place the paper on the top of deck (to prevent the scratch on the belt on the bottom of pickup unit).
6) Remove the screw and the pickup unit .
7) If abnormality is found in the Feed Roller in this unit, replace the faulty part.
8) Install the removed parts in reverse order.
