Tip: If the configuration wizard does not appear, you might be connected to the
wrong System Node. Recheck your physical cabling.
Tip: To find out which local site a configuration wizard is running on, look at its
site icon in its upper left corner.
3. On each configuration wizard, enter the information requested on the Introduction page.
Warning: You must select the Yes, this is the primary site check box on the
configuration wizard running on one of your sites. The configuration wizards
wait indefinitely for a connection from the primary site, so if you fail to designate
one site as the primary site, the wizards will eventually become stuck.
Tip: The factory designated site number (Site1, Site2, Site3) shown in the upper
left corner of the wizard is irrelevant to which site you designate as the primary
site.
– On the configuration wizards running at your secondary sites:
•
Select the No, this is not the primary site check box.
•
Enter the site's name into the My site name field.
– On the configuration wizard running at your primary site:
•
Select the Yes, this is the primary site check box.
•
Enter the site's name into the My site name field.
•
Enter the peer System Network 1 IP addresses into the Other site ScaleoutNetwork1 IPs
fields.
