9.6.2 Programming the PDUs

PDU reprogramming is done using the PDU firmware CLI. You can access the CLI using one of the
following methods:
• A serial (RS232) port
• An Ethernet port

9.6.2.1 Connecting to the PDU with a serial port

The PDU has an RJ45 serial RS-232 port. Use a RJ45-to-DB9F serial port adapter to connect using a PC or
networked terminal server.
Serial port connections require either a terminal or terminal emulation software configured to support
VT100/ANSI. The serial port also requires the following settings:
