2. For each site, validate the network settings in each tab against your settings as specified in your
ActiveScale X100 Site Survey, and/or change the Storage Network settings.
Tip: You can change the 4th octet of the new system's Public Network IP
addresses and you can change Storage Network addresses. System Network
addresses are carried forward from the existing system(s), so you cannot change
them.
3. Click Next to review each tab.
Important: On multi-site deployments, the wizard presents two levels of tabs. It
is critical that you review all the tabs. In other words, you must review Site 1's
network settings in each tab, Site 2's network settings in each tab, and Site 3's
network settings in each tab.
4. When you reach the last tab, click Proceed.

The wizard notifies you to check the scale out job on the Jobs page.
5. Navigate to the Jobs page, and wait until the scale out job indicates success or failure.
The Jobs page displays the progress of the scale out job. Depending on the size of the system, this job
runs for 3 to 18 hours.

If the scale out job fails, click the icon in its Details column to see why it failed and suggestions on
how to correct the problem. Follow the suggestions.
