To power off a Polycom HDX 4000 system, do one of the following:
• Press and hold the power button on the side of the monitor.
The monitor and the system power off.
• Press and hold the power button on the front of the system.
The monitor and the system power off.
After turning the power off in this way, wait at least 15 seconds before you
unplug the system from its power source.
The following figure shows the location of the power switches and indicator
lights.

The indicator light on the front of the Polycom HDX 4000 systems provides
this information:
Indicator Light (System)
Off
Steady blue light
Blinking blue light
Steady amber light
Alternating blue and amber lights
Monitor Power
System
Status
System is without power.
System is initializing.
System is awake.
System received an IR (infrared) signal.
System is asleep.
System is in software update mode.
System is in factory restore mode.
