The following figure shows the location of the power switch and indicator
light.
The indicator light on the front of the Polycom HDX 9000 series system
provides this information:
Indicator Light
Off
Steady green light
Blinking green light
Steady amber light
Alternating green and amber lights
To power on the Polycom HDX 8000 series, Polycom HDX 7000 series, or
Polycom HDX 6000 series system, do one of the following:
• Press the power button on the remote control.
• Press the power switch on the front of the system.
The Polycom splash screen is displayed within about 10 seconds.
System Status
System is powered off.
System is initializing.
System is awake.
System received an IR (infrared) signal.
System is asleep.
System is in software update mode.
System is in factory restore mode.
