DRIVE TRAIN
Remove the spring stop ring and drive shaft from
the compressor.
Remove the spring stop, damper cam, and damper
lifter from the drive shaft.
Check the damper lifter and cam for wear or
damage.
CAUTION:
Discard the stop ring and install a new one
upon reassembly.
Remove the oil seal and oil seal guide from the
damper case.
NOTE:
Replace the oil seal with a new one if it is
removed.
