Summary In this chapter you'll find an overview of the operator control and monitoring
capabilities offered by the FM 354.
For operator control and monitoring of the FM 354, an operator panel can be
connected to the CPU via the MPI interface (see Figure 1-2).
The module uses the SIMATIC interface (backplane bus) to communicate
with the control panel.
