Message NPAL_AddArp: could not create local host entry <ip addr> for ifindex <value>
Severity WARNING
Description This message indicates that an attempt to add the 32-bit host route failed in the
hardware. You need to add the 32-bit host route in hardware for each ARP entry.

Message NPAL_AddArp: IP address of the ARP is NULL
Severity ERROR
Description This message indicates that you cannot add an ARP entry where the IP address
equals 0. Even if you are setting the default route to CPU or DROP, you can bind
the default route to special hardware next-hops without specifying the ARP IP
equals 0.

Severity WARNING
Description This message indicates that an attempt to create the IP interface in hardware for
the local ARP failed.

Description Currently, the Passport 8300 supports 2994 dynamic, static, and discard ARP
