FRAME/BODY PANELS/EXHAUST SYSTEM

TRUNK LOCK COVER

Open the trunk lid.

Remove the two self-tapping screws, three screws

and trunk lock cover.

Install the trunk lock cover in the reverse order of

Remove the following:

– seat (page 2-5)

– rear fender A (page 2-13)

– trunk lower cover (page 2-13)

– trunk lock cover

– passenger headset connector from the holder

Disconnect the saddlebag opener cables and sub-

Disconnect the antenna connector and 12P connec-

tor of the trunk control unit sub-wire harness and

14P connector of the trunk sub-wire harness.

Remove the wire bands.

Remove the four mounting bolts, three washers and

trunk assembly from the stay.

Installation is in the reverse order of removal.

Route the wires

and cables properly

(page 1-23).
