– twelve intake manifold bolts (from the left and
right cylinder head)
Raise the intake manifold assembly and set suitable
wooden blocks between the crankcase and mani-
fold to support it.
Remove the following from the cylinder head:
– manifold gasket
– ECT sensor and sealing washer
Left cylinder head
only:
– cylinder head bolts (three 6-mm bolts and eight
9-mm bolts)
Remove the cylinder head while disconnecting the
water hose joint pipe, being careful not to damage
the mating surface of the manifold and cylinder
head.
