Disassembling the fork legs
Info
These operations are the same on both fork legs.
–
Position the brake caliper and check that the brake linings are seated correctly.

Mount screws
–
Operate the hand brake lever repeatedly until the brake linings lie on the brake disc
and there is a pressure point. Fix the hand brake lever in the activated position.
The brake caliper straightens.

Tighten screws

Remove the fixation of the hand brake lever.
–
Unload the rear of the vehicle.
–
Remove the motorcycle from the work stand. (
–
Pull the front brake and compress the fork powerfully a few times.
The fork legs straighten.
–
Tighten screws

Condition
The fork legs have been removed.
–
Note down the current state of the rebound
–
Note down the current spring preload
–
Completely open the adjusters of the rebound damping, compression damping, and
spring preload.

Clamp the fork leg in the area of the lower triple clamp.
