Scan Position Adjustment

Adjusts the read start position of the exposure unit in the sub scan direction.
A. Procedure
1.
"Service Mode screen"
Press [ADF].
2.
"ADF Adjustment screen"
Press [Scan Position Adjustment].
3.
"Scan Position Adjustment screen"
Press [Test Copy].
4.
"Test Copy screen"
Select A3 (for metric) or 11 x 17 (for inch) paper, and press the Start key with the adjustment chart set to
ADF.
5.
Press [END].
6.
Check the read position.
Standard value [1]: 10 ± 1.0 mm
7.
"Scan Position Adjustment screen"
Enter a value through the [+]/[–] or numeric keys and press [Setting].
Setting range: – 2.0 (faster) to + 2.0 mm (slower)
1 step = 0.1 mm
8.
Repeat steps 4 to 8 until it gets inside the standard value.
9.
Repeat steps 3 to 9 for each mode.
10.
Press [OK].
